Instant Noodles with Biltong

You know the feeling when you just want to kick back and have a no fuss, quick, and easy dinner? You know, something you can just chuck into one pot and tuck in to? Yeah, we know that too. Good thing Nicky Batchelor (@batchout) sorted this one out with his super tasty biltong Korean instant noodles.

Serves 1


  • 1 pack Ember chilli biltong

  • 1 pack of your favourite instant noodles (this recipe uses kimchi)

  • 1 spring onion, sliced

  • 1 tsp crispy garlic

  • 1 tsp crispy shallots

  • 1/2 roasted red pepper, diced

  • 1-2 tsps gochujang (depending on taste)

  • Soy sauce to taste

  • Sesame seeds


  1. Slice the biltong up and add it along with the packet spices, a dollop of gochujang, red pepper, dried noodles and hot water to cook the noodles and re-hydrate the spiced beef slices.

  2. After a few minutes, depending on your noodle cooking instructions, top it with some chopped spring onion, crispy shallots, crispy garlic, soy sauce and sesame seeds.
