We are still open for business, though we have made changes within both our office and our warehouse to protect both our workers and our customers. All office staff are working from home as per government guidelines. We are running a skeleton of essential staff to both make our biltong and distribute it from our warehouse and specific safety measures have been put in place.
Based on the above we are running a slightly reduced service from our warehouse to protect our staff during the COVID 19 outbreak and ensure that we don't have to close the warehouse down.
This means that we are only dispatching items at midday on Monday, Wednesday and Friday. All orders before 11am on any of these days will be dispatched on that day, otherwise they will go with the next dispatch.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 the majority of our UK orders are still arriving within 2-3 working days of dispatch but some deliveries are taking slightly longer. We appreciate your understanding during these tough times.
Due to the outbreak of COVID-19 the majority of our European orders are still arriving within 4-7 working days of dispatch but some deliveries are taking slightly longer. We appreciate your understanding during these tough times.
Thanks so much and keep safe.

This year we’re encouraging Dads to go a bit wild. Whether going wild is your Dad getting out into nature, getting out on his bike or getting out into the pub - we’ve got tonnes of ideas to choose from.
Father’s day 2021 is going to be wild... We’ve teamed up with the Wild Beer Co to give Dad’s a wild gift box filled to the brim with delicious Ember Charcuterie perfectly paired with a selection of their beers.
Traditionally cured and served cold on a charcuterie board paired with cheese or other nibbles. Making charcuterie is considered a fine art with those that make salamis even being called a charcutier (fancy right?).
Want ideas of how to use our tasty charcuterie in your cooking? Here’s some delicious recipe ideas that you can try at home.
Philip Lymbery, the Global Chief Executive of Compassion in World Farming and Ember brother Jack had a chat about their shared mission and passion to end factory farming.
We fancy ourselves as biltong pioneers (is that even a thing?) Introducing our BRAND NEW Organic biltong. Sourced from select British farms that farm regeneratively to rebuild soil health and restore wildlife. Come with us and we’ll take you on our journey to create better biltong.
Worried about wildlife? Us too. The good news is, you can help - whether it's a little flowerpot on your windowsill or a wild patch in your garden.
We know all this talk about sustainability can be quite daunting. So why don’t we start somewhere easy - our kitchen.
