We’ve been making our Biltong out of British and Irish silverside beef since day one. Which means it’s rich in flavour and packed with the natural protein your body deserves. We take lean strips of silverside beef, rub them in herbs and spices, then hang them to dry. The result? 16g of proper tasty protein per portion. No added sugar and no unnecessary nasties - just homegrown protein from British and Irish cows.

Each 50g serving has

What is biltong?

Biltong is thinly sliced dried, cured meat originating in Southern African countries like Zimbabwe, Botswana and South Africa. If we had to compare it to something, we’d say it was a little like beef jerky. But trust us - it’s a whole different beast. To find out more about biltong, click here.

How do you make your biltong?

We make our biltong by marinating, seasoning and curing lean meat from cows reared on British and Irish soil. To learn more about the process, click here.

What can I eat biltong with?

What is the difference between biltong and beef jerky?

Beef jerky is a classic cooked and dehydrated meat snack, made with salt and a handful of different seasonings. All the moisture is sucked out of the meat, which means it can hang around safely on the shelves for a long time. Biltong, on the other hand, uses a mix of vinegar and deep, strong spices every step of the way, giving the meat that extra notch of flavour. It also packs a juicier punch, because it has a slightly higher amount of fat running through the meat. Beef jerky has less fat - hence why it can be drier (and tougher on the teeth).
