Our pouches are super good at keeping our products delicious and fresh for you to eat but they’ve always been tricky little things to recycle. We have to keep to certain food safety standards with the materials we use which has made recyclability a huge challenge.

The geniuses at Terracycle have created a way to recycle even the most complex of materials so they can be used again and again. Through their Zero Waste BoxTM scheme waste that can not normally be recycled can be made into things like park benches to flooring tiles.

1. Enjoy your delicious pack of charcuterie or biltong. Check the back of the pouch for the Terracycle messaging to make sure it can be recycled.
2. Collect your empty packs of Ember and send them to us in a 1st class large letter. Try and send us 10 packs at a time to make the envelope and transport worth its while.
3. We’ll send you a voucher worth £2.50 to spend on our website and your pouches will be turned into something new like a watering can.
